Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Radio Playmaker operates community event calendars for radio stations. Our calendars organize factual event information from public sources and community submissions. Event photos are displayed from their original source or provided by the people who submit or manage listings.
We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and respond promptly to valid notices of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains how to reach us and how the process works.
Fastest way to request removal
Every event listing has a “Report a problem” link. Choose “Copyright / photo use” and we’ll review it promptly — typically the quickest path to getting content taken down. You can also email us at copyright@radioplaymaker.com.
Designated Copyright Agent
To submit a formal DMCA notification, contact our designated agent:
What a valid DMCA notice must include
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice to the agent above must include substantially all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works).
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it — please include the URL of the specific listing.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the agent above. It must include your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and phone number, along with consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court. We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
Repeat-infringer policy
In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we will disable or terminate the accounts of station operators or submitters who are repeat infringers, and we will remove from our system, and stop monitoring, any content source that repeatedly supplies infringing material.
How we handle event photos
Photos on automatically discovered listings are displayed from their original source page (linked back to that source), not re-hosted by us. Photos on submitted or station-managed listings are provided by the submitter or station, who confirm they own or have permission to use them. Either way, if you believe a photo infringes your rights, use the process above and we will remove it promptly.
